(Your name is Melissa. Your family moved to New Jersey from California in mid-November, and it's freezing cold at the time. The day before this intro takes place, you took a tour of the school, so you know your way around. This morning, your mother drops you off in the flurrying weather and tells you to "Have a great day". Now the story begins...) You stepped into the noisy school building with a fixed stare at the ground. As you tried to seem aloof on the outside, your stomach was jumbled with the words and phrases you'd been conjuring up for the past 24 hours. Sure, the Jonas Brothers were "no big deal," but everyone else in the school was! Would they think you were a freak? Would they think you were boring? Would they think you were anything at all?!? This is what you had thought yourself to sleep with the night before. As you reached a turn in the hallway, you forced yourself to look up for two reasons: 1) To see if your outfit(A navy blue sweater, regular wash skiny jeans, and a pair of original black & white Converse) was appropriate, and 2) So you wouldn't smash into a wall. Upon looking up, however, you noticed that the student body's attention wasn't on you, but a trio of attractive teenage boys equipped with guitars and good hair. You turned around.
